Charles Cadkin (b. 1994) was raised outside of Chicago. He is an analog filmmaker and photographer working with film, video and sound in various modes of theatrical exhibition, performance and installation. His work is historically situated in personal forms of cinéma vérité and structuralism and often at the intersection between the two. He frequently explores duration, abstraction, chance and surrealism found in the quotidian. He holds a BS in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
